Ahead of the consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, the symbolic padukas (sandals) of Lord Ram reached Malda, West Bengal, accompanied by elaborate worship ceremonies. The religious event took place in Malda city, where the sound of bells echoed through a private institution during the grand worship.

As part of nationwide celebrations leading up to the Ayodhya temple inauguration on January 22, various regions across the country are honoring Lord Ram. In West Bengal, the symbolic Ram Paduka made its way to Malda on Friday, specifically to the Purtuli Pakurtala area of English Bazar town, where it was placed in a private hotel for worship. The ceremony drew the presence of representatives from various traditional organizations.
